Advantages of Positano
Positano is unique mainly because it clings vertically into the mountains and cascades down to the Mediterranean below. This makes for an unforgettable view.
Where Amalfi is a throwback in time, Positano is romantic.Positano is also a little more remote due to the fact that the main buses can't drop tourists off in the center of the town - only up top. Positano is also where the stars tend to get away to.
Besides watching for the rich and famous, Positano is also a place that can offer you more from the most scenic vistas to the most incredible drinks and food. You can also visit the 13th Century Church of Santa Maria Assunta, which is a stone's throw away from one of the largest beaches on the Amalfi Coast.
You can also take a hydrofoil and go to the isle of Capri or visit positano the Green Grotto.
