Many parents let their children watch as much TV as they would like. You need to make sure that your child watches a maximum of an hour to two hours of television a day. Any more and this can negatively impact on your child in the long run. Also make sure that you make a point of watching these television programs with your child. Often programs showed on the kids network are inappropriate for children, even if they're being claimed as such. Make sure to stick with your gut instinct when it comes to television programs.
