DC Design, the makers of the DC Avanti have teased a new concept based mostly on the Mahindra Thar. The new concept Thar will essentially be a package deal that will probably be put in on the off-roader giving it a more trendy and present look. The DC Design Thar could have a hard top roof which has been customized created for this specific automobile along with hoop like design components on the roof to provide it a slightly completely different look. The roof will also have integrated driving lamps that are probably to be LED units. The DC Design Thar may also get a very redesigned entrance end with a new bumper and a new grille accent piece along with a set of integrated fog lamps which have been mounted into the bumper.

At the rear, the DC Design Thar gets an even larger makeover. The standard small back lights which were the typically Jeep-ish calling card have been changed by a set of LED units which can be angular and higher mounted. The tail gate too has been completely redesigned to fit the new wheel and tyre mixture which can nonetheless be externally mounted and to give it an nearly Toyota FJ-Cruiser like look. The fenders too have been flared to present the Thar a wider stance and to match the chunkier wheels and tyres that the new idea will get. Interior modifications are at present unknown because the idea Thar is simply a rendering at this stage. However considering the truth that DC design has been recognized to offer its vehicles some fairly high finish leather interiors and fittings, we count on the same treatment to be zzzzz01 given to the Thar too. Efficiency wise, count on the Thar to retain its factory figures from the 2.5 diesel engine and 5-velocity handbook gearbox.

Incidentally, Dilip Chhabria, founding father of DC Design has a long historical past with the Mahindra brand. One among his first ever cars was in reality a relatively quaint trying yellow Mahindra CJ-340 which was modified and christened the ‘Intruder’. Mahindra used the ‘Intruder’ for years because the lead automobile for their early Great Escape occasions in the mid and late 90s until it was decommissioned and later scrapped. That car too was equipped with a customized body with a hard high configuration, a customized front and rear end and a set of alloy wheels with off-road tyres.
